  • Really good I got the kiritama, the signature dish of the shop. It looks really simple but it’s incredibly delicious. My friend got the kotto shoyu soup ramen, I had a taste and it was really good. Totally recommended

  • I really loved the noodles, it was very simple but very delicious! And the Karaage chicken was very delicious too.

  • Best tsukemen I’ve ever had. Noodles were perfect texture and the flavor of the broth was amazing. Only downside to this place is it’s always busy, but that’s for good reason.

  • Chuka Kirimen’s raw-egg mixed noodles are a masterclass in simplicity elevated to its highest form. There is no heavy broth, no elaborate toppings—just pure technique, confidence, and the kind of minimalism that only truly skilled shops dare to present. The dish arrives looking almost artistic: the noodles neatly folded into a smooth coil, their soft brown hue hinting at whole grain depth and a dough crafted with care. Resting at the center is a jewel-like egg yolk, vibrant and glossy, signaling exceptional quality even before it’s broken. The moment the yolk is mixed, everything changes. The rich, silky yolk melds with the base seasoning beneath, coating each strand with a golden sheen. Your second photo captures this transformation beautifully—the noodles glistening, now fuller and more alive, each strand perfectly coated without clumping. Flavor-wise, the first bite is surprisingly striking. The noodles have a gentle “snap,” firm and chewy without being stiff. Their wheat aroma is clear and fragrant. The egg adds creaminess and depth, but never overwhelms. The seasoning stays intentionally restrained, enhancing rather than masking the natural sweetness of the noodles. This balance is what makes Chuka Kirimen stand out: they understand that true flavor comes from harmony, not excess. The raw egg doesn’t act as a topping—it becomes part of the noodle’s identity, creating a silky texture that lingers beautifully on the palate. It’s the kind of dish that feels humble at first glance yet becomes unforgettable once tasted. There’s a quiet confidence behind it: the confidence of a shop that knows its noodles are good enough to shine without embellishment. In a city filled with bold broths, rich tonkotsu, and elaborate tsukemen, Chuka Kirimen offers something different—an honest, ingredient-driven bowl that celebrates the beauty of simplicity. For anyone who appreciates the essence of noodles, this raw-egg mixed bowl is a must-try and a true hidden gem in Osaka’s culinary landscape.

  • I have been waiting a long time to eat this ramen. I did not know it is popular, I only want to go because the ramen with an egg york is aesthetic pleasing to me. I arrived 11:25, and they requires LINE to make a reservation, I don’t have LINE so I ask the staff lady for help. I got number 26. Then we are waiting in line at the back alley. It smells bad here. The total waiting time is 50mins, before I am asked to purchase my order thru the machine. I get the Kiritama (noodle with just a raw egg) cold version ¥1000. And adding an order of fried chicken (karaage) plus middle size rice for ¥400. (May 2025) Then it is some waiting until I get a seat, and finally food comes in next 10 mins. It is very beautiful to look at, as the noodle laying orderly in the bowl, and the egg white is transparent while the egg york become the attention center. Really nicely done on the preparation. I am very satisfied. The fried chicken and rice are hot, I like it. The staff brought an English instruction on how to it. Basically is put some soy sauce (not too much) and mix the egg together to eat, if not enough taste then add more soy sauce. I use chopstick to pick one noodle at a time and let it slide into my mouth. So amazing experience, it is slippery from the egg and I could taste the egg. Noodle is chewy, just to my taste. Chickin is good too, juicy inside although it is charred outside. After finishing the noodle, I pour all the sauce on to my rice bowl and another dish is made, like a Japanese morning breakfast, adding raw egg and soy sauce into rice. It’s so good. I really like my meal, and I enjoyed it. The price is acceptable. If only I don’t need to wait that long I would give it all 5 stars.
